Freyssinet Eric

Eric Freyssinet is colonel in the gendarmerie and has had 15 years of experience fighting against cybercrime, first, as the head of a laboratory for processing digital evidence from 1998 to 2005, then as manager of following projects by the national police fighting against cybercrime between 2005 and 2010, and finally since 2010 as head of the cybercrime judicial division at the national police department. Freyssinet received a diploma from the Polytechnical school in 1992. He continued his studies at Télécom ParisTech and obtained a master’s degree in 2000. In 2011, Freyssinet began his PhD at the University of Paris 6 Pierre et Marie Curie. He contributes to the training of others through numerous police force or international projects as well as in institutions such as the University of Technology in Troyes or the University of Paris II. Because of his expertise and dedication to various groups working in the fight against cybercrime, he is now vice-president of the European Union Cybercrime Taskforce, President of the Association francophone des specialists de l’investigation numérique (French Association of Digital Forsenics) and vice-president of the association Signal Spam. Since 2013, Freyssinet is member of the Conseil scientifique du Conseil Supérieur (Scientific Council of the Supreme Council). Freyssinet is the author of numerous articles and works. His second book, “Cybercrime in movement” received the book award at the FIC in 2013.

Gerard Gaudin

Gerard Gaudin is an independant consultant for G²C and President of the R2GS Club. Gaudin has a degree from the Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité (School of Electricity). After two experiences in French multinational companies specializing in technology and information systems, he worked for CS managing its cost centers as well as its IT department and Information Security department. Since 2003, he has been an Information Security specialist for G²C with a particular emphasis on cyber defense and security information and events management (SIEM). In 2008, Gaudin created the R2GS Club (Reflection and Research in Operational Safety Management). Acting as President, the Club has been able to gather over 150 actors belonging to more than 40 companies and organizations dedicated to cyber defense and SIEM. The Club is currently expanding in Europe via the establishment of a comprehensive network of “clone” associations (developed in the UK and Germany). Gaudin is also the founder and President of the ETSI (an organization focused on standardization in the IT field). ETSI is part of the entity known as ISG ISI dedicated to all aspects of security event detection.

Guillaume Tissier

Jérémie Jourdin

Jéremie Jourdin, senior expert in information security. Jourdin has conducted hundreds of audits and tests on intrusion applications for the past 12 years. Head of research and development at Advens, he designs and develops security applications. Jourdin is the creator of the Firewall Application/Web SSO “Vulture”, a project in which he is still defining the technical direction and roadmap.

Laurent Bloch

After having studied statistical research, Laurent Bloch spent 15 years developing statistical analysis software, administering operating systems and networks, prior to acting as a computer scientist at CNAM and the Pasteur Institute. He was then Chief information security officer at Inserm and then Chief information officer at the University of Paris Dauphine. Gaudin is now a researcher at IFAS.
