The 9th edition of the International Cybersecurity Forum, organised in partnership with Région Hauts-de-France, CEIS and Euratechnologies, will take place on 24 and 25 January 2017. This event has become unmissable not only for the French Ministry of the Interior but also for the industrial, academic and institutional world.
The French gendarmerie, which initiated this forum in 2007, has been engaged for many years in the field of cybersecurity and more broadly today in a process of genuine digital transformation.
Indeed, companies and security forces alike must continually adapt to security challenges, anticipate changes in them and prepare for the future by optimising today the tools and methods of action of tomorrow. Beyond equipment, all internal procedures must be revised, modernised and simplified to integrate new uses, particularly in the field of mobility, to take full advantage of the continuous development of new technologies.
The 2017 edition of the FIC will bring together more than 5,000 experts in Lille in late January for two days entirely devoted to the many facets of security and the uses of new technologies. It is an ideal occasion to further strengthen the close links between public and private partners on all these themes.
